Jeremiah 33:3
3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
A command to pray
Luke 18:1 “And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.”
Ps 50:15 “and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”
Ps 62:8 “Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.”
Pray for: Spiritual growth, physical health, financial strength, national wellbeing
Is 55:6 “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;”
Matt 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
Pray for: Church ministries and workers, evangelistic opportunities, personal witness
Mark 14:38 ” Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
I Thess. 5:17 “pray without ceasing,”
Heb. 4:16 “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Pray for: RBNet missionaries, Gospel Foundation Ministries, Today’s Choice, persecuted Christians
James 4:8 “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
Col 4:2 “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.”
